Just got an email that Caribbean Blue Aquatics in Bayshore is closing and have a fire sale. Power company turned off their power. Cash only , so any one is interested, today maybe the last day. Sad day for brick and mortar businesses!

Oh wow! I was just there last week and spoke to them on Friday. That’s crazy.

I believe all the livestock is gone and the store is closed now because of insurance reasons, my understanding is that the equipment is next to go

Based on what I read on their FB page, PSEG cut their power Saturday due to I guess not paying their bill. Very sad it came to that. I’m sure they had warnings. I’m glad all the livestock were rehomed at least.

Sorry to hear this sad news. I was never there but not surprised. How can LFS survive these days with high cost of rent and bills. Can it also be people like haggle for prices. Between internet it’s tough just sell fish and coral. Without maintenance services how is LFS survive. Why chain stores have other pets to rely on other ways income coming through the door.
