red sea max reef tank

anyone know if the red sea Max tank is any good for hard or soft corals.
Is it a good reef tank. 34 gals. Is it consider a nano tank.

the red sea max had pc lighting, and like most closed top stock nano systems it is only suitable for a variety of soft corals. There are mods however that you can do to the red sea and other closed top nanos to give them the MH lighting that you need to keep "hard" corals. There are also open top nano's like the red sea max, including the current Solana, which has several options of stock MH lights that you can choose from in order to keep a much wider variety of soft and hard corals. If yo are looking for an all inclusive nano that comes with a built in skimmer etc, but dont want to be held exclusively to soft corals, and dont want to make any modifications to the stock system, the solana, and new jbj hqi may be the choices that you are looking for.
