Penducter on non pressure rated pumps

Anyone use penducters on non pressure rated pumps? How does it work vs. regular locline? I'm thinking an eheim 1262 with around 7 feet head pressure (four feet vertical plus elbows etc.)

IMO, you will get no flow. I once tried a 1262 just to push water through a Pacific Coast CL-650 chiller and I swear that maybe 100 to 200 gph was coming out the other end. The chiller is restrictive enough to compare to your penductors.

I have used one on a quiet one 5ooo and the flow was stronger but not a great deal more. Pete

DN's I tried penductors on a mag 9.5 and it wasn't much if any improvement.
