It looks more like that slimey hair algae that just grows over the rocks where Bryopsis looks more like a plant, Fern, that grows up. My algae blenny didn't even want to touch it I had to get a rabbit fish to finally remove it. Now if only the rabbit fish would eat some of that green bubble algae that my emerald crabs don't want to eat.

Are lawnmower blennies and algae blennies the same thing? Cause I have one in my tank and he cleaned up the hair algae i had on the glass in a few days. Those things eat like crazy.
yes

do you notice the hermit crabs eating the algae if they are order lots of them like 50-100. Getting rabbit fish or algae blennies are cool but I would recomend an army of hermit crabs (as long as they're eating the stuff).

i use to have this type of prob ,, ,,i now have turned around this prob with better pump ,im using pan world 1100 and a 40 gal refuge on a 90 gal tank ,,,,and more clean up crew in my tank ,,tank is crystal clear ,and everything is on zero ,
seems like more flow of water helped as well as the clean up crew ...i agree with both marrone and jackson,,both have good points and both of those pionts worked for me ,,i have 100 hermit crabs and 100 snails ,,they do a great job clean everything ,,,most of the snail i have are sand sifting so the sand gets moved as well ,,
