Egg crate

Anyone know where I can buy one in the city? I've tried a few hardware stores (not HD, though) and they all look at me like I'm making the whole concept of egg crates up. They think it a box to hold eggs and suggest I go to a 99c store.

Yeah, it looks like Manhattan is not a good place for egg-crate! I'll just have to order on-line...

canal plastics has it I think.

Call and see if they have 'light grid' Industrial plastic used to have it in white, silver, and black.

Isn't Canal Plastics the place that closed about six months ago? There a plastics place on Canal Street I bought a sheet for my 29g on its last day of operation!

That was industrial plastics.

Canal plastics is still there.

So is Plastic Land (if you can find it, they moved 1/2 a block below canal. I like them better than canal plastics.

Canal Plastics is on Canal and broadway (I think) and Plastic land is half a block below canal on Church St.

Home depot in queens should have it. Ask for the ceiling tile aisle. Then ask for Light grid should be about $8 a sheet.
