Eddie welcome aboard. That story brings back memories, I got out of the army in 71 and was born in Coney Island. I also did a lot of collecting and still do, but now I collect seahorses out east. I believe they are still off Coney Island though.
I also used that beach sand in the sixtees for my local tank which is still running. I also started diving in about 73, thanks to R&R in Australia.
