I really want a starfish in my system for various cleaning and aesthetic purposes. Will a serpent star be reef safe? I have a yellow wrasse that sleeps in the sand, will the star hurt him?

What other stars are reef safe, nice to look at, and do a good job cleaning? i have seen the linkia and the serpent brittle ones mostly.

I doubt it. Unless he is half dead that is when it might try to eat some but any small sudden movement to a healthy fish then the fish is gone from the predator and plus the starfish will never catch ya fish.

My star didnt bother my yellow coris when I had him(before he jumped:banghead:)Although it didn't really do much at all or ever does, he just kinda hides behind a rock and comes out when I feed, THATS when he shows some life...and my sand is covered in cyano:irked:
