Just wanted to say that when I got home from work today to check on the baby brine shrimp that i was trying to hatch, HATCHED!!
I was pretty skeptical but It worked. Just fed my fish and they seem to enjoy it but there way too small for the type of fish i got. Also pretty cool to see how the BBS are trying to swim around in the tank.

I know others have experience in this but its a first for me.
I tried the Brine Shrimp hatchery that i purchased with the group buy but couldnt manage to get it working so i rigged up a 2 liter soda bottle and it worked.

What a relief.

I build these hatcheries. The shrimp hatch on the black side, then it is covered and the shrimp swim to the light side in about 15 minutes. I have been using this one over 10 years but I have always built them like this.
I always hatch shrimp every day and would not be able to keep pipefish or small gobies without it.
Have fun.
