I just noticed that the board received yet another upgrade. When I first looked at MR it was still that old style super slow site.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I really appreciate the work that you guys have done and the time that you guys have put in to create this great comunity!

Most do not realize it but you guys have had a huge impact on our lives. Just the way we operate and the time we take reading and looking.

Also through MR we have met good people and recently we received our resident drinking planner INK!!!

If you look at the title of the thread it says thanks. I really dont think that it is appropriate to complain about anything on this thread. The fact of the matter is that these guys are doing us all a huge favor here. They are giving this board to us for free along with all of the other things that they organize for us. Some people just dont realize how much of their time is dedicated to making and keeping this board for us.

Some of you may think that creating a website and managing one like this is a piece of cake so you start complaining about the time on the server. Just try to make a simple chat program. I dare you - than complain.

All I am saying is that while we are all using this FREE service we should show a bit of gratitude and support.

hey guys. i'm back in the city and i definitely agree with what everyone's saying. the site looks great. when i started using the site just over a year and a half ago there were probably only 150-200 members max. what a difference a year makes. MR has really taken off. glad to see some familiar names are still here. kudos to all the mods.

Easy, Im not complaining! I quoted Jon because a know him, i have a problem with the smileys. I've given good advice, offered rides, lent equiptment, and donate to this site.

I had surgery monday and can't lift for two months, if i was able i would have tried my best to help Missy with here move.

Im a union carpenter who received a PM from someone i never met on this site asking if a could build a canopy for him, not only did i tell him yes, i offered to get the material and build it for him at no charge.
If it was RC i would have charged him, BIG!
It things we do for each other that makes it a good board.
Im on plenty of reef boards for years i know about dedication.

This site ROCKS, it is so good to have such a community here in NYC. For years I thought I was the only addict, it is great that I am not alone.
