Growth was very well to the point I was gonna frag it. Then I noticed the base tissue of the coral coming up. 3 weeks ago the tissue extended to the line where it is connected to the plug. Only thing that I have done to this coral is not feed it Mysis for a few weeks.
As you can see the new heads from the side of the base are starting to die off as the tissue is moving up.
Also I have noticed my star polyps on the other side of the tank are having an issue as on some fronts it is growing while on others it is dying off.
Readings Indicate that ph was at 8.1 all other test were perfect. Temp has always been 78 degrees since day 1 in the tank.
Could all this be because of the low PH? Critter such as a brittle worm or odd snail?
Any Ideas why this would happen.
BTW... The corals are closed in picture because I was doing maintenance so I found it to be the perfect time for these pictures.
