Are my Xenia dead?

I think they got electric shocked, I found my fuge light fell in sump the other day, all other coral looked bad for that one day but all are perfect now. all levels are perfect except a Amoinia -high a little from overfeeding but comes down in a day or to after stop feeding?
These Xenia are like weeks in my tank and I always give them away. I am worried about if there is going to be a die off in the tank? I tried to scrap off the rock but can't get all of it off.

It looks like some of them have a chance to live. Just get the tank back to normal with a couple of small water changes.

they dont look like the are melted, I would say they are a little stress from the shock.

Xenia is funny stuff. I have had it bloom and then almost die off completely.

I know some people say it has to do with water quality, that poor water quality encourages growth, but I don't think so. I have used the same maintenance routines and watch my xenia come and go.

thanks Tony but I really hate Xenia because they grew like weeks in my tank and they started to take over the tank,
should I just razor lade off to be safe and what do I do with the little that is crusted to the the rock?

You really shouldn't be overfeeding the tank to the point where you can detect ammonia. It should never be detectable on our test kits once your tank is cycled
