Would this tank be sutiable for SPS? The flow seems low but I read somewhere that it's built so the Vortech can be added.
It would need to be custom made and specially outfitted for a dry 'overflow' to mount the Vortech.

intriguing, what is a dry 'overflow'
If you noticed I put 'quotes' around the word overflow because it's not really a dry overflow. As chief so aptly called it, it's more of a dry dock. It is a box in the center of the tank that looks a lot like an overflow but no water flows through the box. It is a dry mounting dock for the VorTech.
Those familiar with VorTech pumps know that there are two functional pieces called the wet side and the dry side. The dry side normally sits on the outside of a tank. With a Zero Edge tank it would be virtually impossible to mount and use a VorTech pump because water flows over the edges of the tank. However with a dry dock on the inside of the Zero Edge it is possible to run a VorTech pump. For all practical purposes the dry dock looks like an overflow box, but it does not function as one.

Very nice, but can SPS thrive in this type of tank?
Sure, why not ?
They are using 2 Ocean Runner 6500 in the small unit and 3 of those pumps in the bigger one...so they have a lot of flow coming from the sump. They use Zeovit in one of the tanks and Xaqua in the other (Hard coral) with excellent results.
Of course they have algae inside and outside...a lot...but the view of the corals is amazing and it worth the time they spend on cleaning...
The store is "Coral Reef", located in Madrid. They have been in the business for almost 13 years and now they move to this new one.
Nice! any pics?
