How often should I replace my little giant pump. It is the return from my skimmer and I was wondering what to check for in terms of wear and tear. When should I buy a new one.

How old is it? Do you clean it often? Is there any obvious wear and tear?

For me I swap out pumps running important components (chiller, Ca reactor, skimmer) every year or two. This is how I acquire pumps for water changes and mixing water, :lol: , i.e. old pumps that have done their service and time for duty.
