you just ruined your own sale!! whichever skimmer you sell will obviously be the inferior one!!! he he.

why not just buy it from Premium Aquatics (get assured that they will allow you to return it used within a month) and you can test it that way. if its not better, return it, if it is, keep it and sell the Deltec (if you cant find anyone here that wants the Deltec, i'm sure you'd be able to sell it on RC - even if you have to ship it).

Not really. The Deltec I will keep regardless of how well the Tunze performs. The Tunze I will keep if it performs even relatively well compared to the Deltec (in addition to my Deltec- never giving up this baby!)

If it produces the same or more amount of noise as the Deltec then I will sell the Tunze regardless. So, I have my own little prerequisites.

The Tunze is an attractive unit for someone who does not have $600 for a Deltec, or does not have much space to hold a skimmer in. The price break should make it a little more desirable.

I have foam less hten half way up the chamber ,water is coming out of the drain pipe ,and looseing the srcew does nada ,i took it completly off and still same ,Im thinking the pump got loose again:scratch:

try posting up your situation to the Tunze Forum on Reef Central. Roger is usually very good at troubleshooting.
you still havent gotten any skimmate? if not, then something must not be attached right, i'll have to come over and have a look-see.
besides, you can't still return it if you wanted to?

Nothing ,not foam yet .its in the same position as yesterday morning .
I get more foam brushing my teeth in the morning then i ever got with a skimmer on my tank :smash:

I took it oout again this morning ,Nothing is loose
I checked the pump ,and every thing ,took of the air screw and stil nada.

I cant say anyting really ,I didnt have any success with my aqua c .
