Starfish eating my snails

FYI,
I must have put this in when it was small with all the others and thought it was a sand star.

Well I lost a small Maxima yesterday and it was just put in the night before and it was in great health.
The shell was completly cleaned, I didn't really know what to think, but I knew something killed it.
It was a very small clam.
I have also had a few empty snail shells recently.
Today I look in to see this starfish wraped around something so I pulled it out.
It was just finishing up a snail, and again the shell was completly clean.

I haven't taken the time yet to ID it but I will, or mabey someone here knows.

It was my fault, I should have been more careful about knowing what I was adding to the tank.

Yes it does stink that it got the clam, I have 3 others I guess they were way too big.

It's a good candidate for someone's folr set up.

coralcrazy and inline - guys remember it's the not the animals fault they eat something in your tank, it's your fault. you put them in their for better or worse.
if you don't like what happens then find them a new home, killing them should not be an option.

I too was joshing, look @ my tank, I painstakingly check & cross check compatibility before making a purchase.
