Gauging interest CADLIGHTS 50 g artisan CUBE rimless Starfire

Hello every one,
for a past several weeks i was looking for a nice rimless tank AFFORDABLE tank. Long story short I found this amazing set up with an option to buy tank only RR for only $350. It is 24"x24"X20" 10 mm starfire 3 sides tank which got good reviews and was sold out during pre order from the factory when they made a first batch. Next batch is been made right now in cali and is ready by 2/15/2010...I'm not interested to run any group buys due to been very busy, but simply want to pass on this amazing deal for a HOT tank. Ideally i would like some one from MR vendors to take over and it looks like a great tank to sell anyway.Eddie, the owner of the manufacturer, is a very nice guy and can offer up to 15% discount on the package deal and 10% on the tank only orders if we get like 10 people ordering. Shipping is cheaper and safer with a large order as well.
Please comment and share your thoughts. if we have enough interest we could probably have a :grouphug:

you dont need to ship it they have a store in brooklyn I have a system I like the tank but have had nothing but problems with the light I had to search the internet for parts because when it broke for the second time they said they would not fix it. I went thought 3 MH light before I could find one that worked with the light,

unfortunately they no longer in brooklyn and moved the whole operation to CA..
Which store in brooklyn you are you talking about? if it is a "1000 islands" it is sounds like it for sure.
Im personally interested in tank only. any feed back on the quality?

yea 1000 islands I like the tank Just the problem is I would not buy it unless you see it some look great some look like the were made at 4:45 on a friday before a long weekend the sealeant is all over the place, but tell eddy to check the tank before he sends it! but ck 1000 islands they may have one there...

Cibo thank you for this input. I will let Eddie know about this feedback and i agree that 1000 islands is not a best product distributor and this is why i deal with manufacturer directly.
Also, this tank was recommended to me from Solana owners club from reefcentral with nice feedback

i call eddie about this tank if i could pick it up in brooklyn.he said to order it and i could pick it up at their brooklyn location!

don't get the 50g. take the 60g cube from 1000 island with the same price. check the other post about the 60g cube.

I got the 60g cube from 1000 Island over the weekend. The tank/stand is a near match of the cadlights only 4" taller. The silicone work is pretty nice. The edges are diamond beveled. I opted to get the tank and stand alone. I wasn't too crazy about the lighting fixture options they had to offer, and don't need a wet/dry. Take a look at it. I spoke to the owner yesterday and she said she has been getting a lot of calls about that tank (possibly from MR members). I think they had only a few, then they have to wait for some time before they get any more due to shipping costs.

1000 island is eddie's mother she is nice also eddie get the tanks in china and brings them in to the usa

I went tp a 1000 islands today and i must say i was really impressed with the way the place is been run there...manager was helpful and i had a great time picking the tank i have been looking for so long. Not only did they have 24" cube, i saw many really well made tanks of so many cool shapes. I also spoke with the sale stuff and these guys know something about equipment and what hobbyist needs...very happy that this place is right here in brooklyn
