i was wondering if its possible to freeze oyster feast. i have a 34g tank and cant use a whole bottle of oyster feast before its 6 month expiration date. i was thinking about squirting half the bottle into a ziplock, flattening it, and then freezing.

anyone know if that works? i figured it should be fine, like any other frozen food

hmm... well i was planning on freezing it probably closer to when itd expire, so i dont think anyone would want to buy it. my thoughts that less nutritional value would be better than tossing the rest away.

There is no expiration date on any Reef Nutrition bottle :) There is a "Best Before" of which if the product is stored correctly can be used for a month or more after.

Any time you have a question about Reef Nutrition, feel free to PM or email me directly. I'd be more then happy to help you. gresham@ reefnutrition.com

To answer your question, I wouldn't freeze it. While we don't have any data on what would happen, it can do several things hypothetically.
