Marine Ich wiped out my hole Tank...

Thanks for the reply Albano! The fish was in the QT for about 3 weeks and looked Great! I put him in the DT and looked fine but would hide in the rocks most of the time. . . My friend came over about to weeks after and pointed out the ich so I realy dont know when?

the only time i had ich kill everything in my tank was when the tank was overcrowded and i didn't have a controller to keep a steady temperature. That being said, i'm totally afraid of velvet and brook, and that is reason enough to quarantine everything that comes into my tank. It seems to me that ich is very difficult to keep out of a tank, but the other more deadly parasites are easy to spot and keep out.
