Sand Swap!!!

Diversity is a good thing... I would like my sandbed to get more critters, grain sizes etc... so how about it? 1 cup of your live sand for 1 cup of mine (maybe more depending on tank sizes). We could meet up somewhere or you could come by my place in BK. I figure if anyone else wants to partake we could make a little party of it (bring a beer and a cup O' sand). Hopefully lots of people will get involved and we can create a little DBTC style thread here.

The propensity to receive pests by swapping sand this way is so incredibly high that you should seriously consider treating every batch of sand that is submit to your DBTC party. You can include, FWE, Revive, TMPCC, Interceptor, whatever other treatment you can think of. The problem with employing this type of aggressive treatment is that you might wind up eradicating lots of the good diversity you're looking to receive by doing this in the first place.

This is a great concept, however it is also an opportunity to introduce some nasties into your systems.
