Any LFS in Bklyn, Queens or SI with good live rock?

I need some new live rock for a tank I'm setting up (not much, 10-15 more pounds probably) but I'd like to hand pick the pieces. Are there any LFS around the area that stock reasonable live rock? Thanks.

all LFS in the area sell live rock but be aware that this live rock is not fully cured unless specified. i know fishtown usa has. Plus northern aquarium also has in stock..

No worries, it's an empty tank. Had a small shipment of rock from Pacific East Aquaculture delivered this morning, but I'm looking to build a specific formation of rock so handpicking the last bits is needed.

Whew - Fishtown USA. I think the last time I went there Reagan was still in the white house It's a bit of a haul for me to get there, but thanks. If nothing closer materializes, I'll give it a shot.

Check out Kissena Aquarium, they sell "real" cured live rock.

I get mine from Kissena Aquarium. It's always purple and fully cured. It sometimes comes with hitchhikers although no cool ones. Watch out for giant monster bristleworms. I got a sea monster of a bristleworm once. The owner was nice and let me give the wormy rock back to exchange for another rock.

Manhattan Aquarium has some of the most purple coraline drenched fiji rock I have ever seen in a store. I know it is not exactly the boroughs you stated but if I were buying some LR that is what I would go for.

With SI, from what I've seen rock goes for $7-10/lb or more
