How's it going everyone? I've been sorta kinda absent around these parts for a little while now. Sad to report that in that time my tank has completely and I mean completely crashed. I have my four fish left and maybe some zoas that are hanging and a few shrooms.

Not sure what I'm going to do at this point, but for the time being the fish are happy and the heat doesn't seem as intense any more.

P.S. We need a Knicks icon.

Bummer Kris. Very sorry to hear about the total loss. :(

Agreed about relocating the tank, or closing the blinds to block the tank or a room AC to get ambient temp down, chiller, etc.

Come on back stronger and better.

Russ,

I'm definitely coming back much stronger! I'm going to take my time and have the tank ready in time for the swap :D

Alfie,

I owe you a visit for sure. Do I need my scuba gear???

Al,
I KNOW you feel my paid :lol2:

Ming,
I'm going to invest in a chiller for next year. The AC in this room sucks :( Gotta get a new one :(. That's what happens when you take a hand me down lol

A cheap window AC is your friend. Last year I had it in for a week. This year I've had it in for almost a month.

Also, consider investing in a controller system. As the temperature rises, it can turn off lights, turn on fans, or whatever. And if worst comes to worst, most log tank parameters, so you can figure out that everything's dying 'cause your tank spiked to 90 while you were out.
