Depends on the sharks.
I've been in the water freediving, and on SCUBA with hammerheads, bulls, lemons, reef, and oceanic white tips on a regular basis.
Don't believe the hype.

Great Whites are Awesome creatures but Shark week is getting repetitious.How many times have you seen a White jump and catch seals?Same stuff every year.However I do like the one where they catch them and tag and measure them and let them go.Which show was that again?

I've done some shark diving down there. No suit needed. It is a very cool experience.

The only time I was in the water with tiger sharks was on a wall dive off the north coast of Haiti. At 200 feet making my ascent I noticed one shimmering as it came up from the deep blue about 100 feet away. At that depth I had over an hour of deco time left and that gives you few choices to make when encountered by sharks.

Shark week is propagating fear of sharks. This is a very bad thing.
I expect more from the Discovery Channel. Sharks are rare delicate fish that need protection from a lot of things. The single most harmful thing for sharks is humans misunderstanding of them. The belief they are just predatory killing machines is completely incorrect.

No, deep air bounce diving.

3min descent the rest of the dive is ascent.

Lol... I like bottom time. One of these days I still hope to dive the Doria.

There isnt much bottom time on the Doria without deco time. I was thinking about that when I moved up here but Im not crazy about cold dark dives. You better get to that wreck soon though, it is really falling apart.

This was a wall that starts at 20 feet, the entire dive is 90mins and its all reef all the time. You travel down the wall and travel back up, even the safety stop is on reef.

Yeah, it would be a full deco dive. I figure I have a few years left, especially if I don't plan on doing a penetration dive. Cold and dark doesn't bother me. I have a reef in my house. I dive to see wrecks.
