I hope everyone's tanks are ok. Apparently it was a tornado?!? It was pretty bad here in Bay Ridge. As it was happening I was just praying the power didnt go out.

Yeah pretty intense here by Pratt as well. Lots of big tree limbs down. No loss of power though.

the walk from my car to my house, 15 feet, got me soaked

Blew a UPS just as I was about to leave work. Had to trace cables and restart some servers that went down.

Huh. Nothing here but some rain and a little thunder n' lighting. Guess I got off lucky.

We have lots of downed trees in our area and almost all traffic lights arent working. My mom in flushing had a bunch of trees down and they lost power.... crazy! It took me 2 hours for a usual 30 minute drive. It was crazy driving through the rain and hail... everyone was doing about 15 mph on the L.I.E.....

ming, im happy you have power in at least enough of your house to take care of the important stuff... like your tank. some places are pretty bad. at least 1 confirmed death in queens.
