The same goes for anyone consuming NY tapwater. That, and anyone drinking the tapwater is also getting plenty of other crap (including toilet paper).

You have RO units for your fish, why are you not taking that same philosophy of purifying your fish water and purify your drinking water?? Trust me, those brita filters do 1/100th of what your R0 units are pulling out.
