I am happy the fish got to you and I hope all is still well.
I wanted to add a quick fedx story here and to remind people to stay calm and dont take no for an answer.
In my case I was the shipper. My fish were stuck in tampa on a saturday night and we were told that there was no way they would complete thier journey until monday.. It was winter and this was a pair of spawning picasso clownfish.
I did what they do on tv in hostage situations. I tried to humanize the fish. with each new person put on the phone to deal with me... the story got more and more personal. these where my lil daughters fish sent to live with her, her pets like puppys on and on. these fish are in your warehouse right now alive and they are going to die. please please help me save them.. i dont even have a daughter... but I do love my fish!
Eventualy we got to the night watchman at the warhouse or something. we got him to go find the fish and hold them at the guard tower. Then we made plans for a cab to pick them up and deliver them to a place where the person recieving the fish could get them. and sometime at like 2am on a sunday morning those fish got put into a verry happy new owners hands. 12+ hours late and literally 10 of them on the phone with fedx. I think i spoke to every employee they have..
Companys may not give a crap, and people can be lazy. but if you dont get frustrated and continue to be nice alot of awsome things can and do happen. So thanks to the fedx man who found those fish and brought them to the guard house. I doubt he was suppose to do that.
