I'm looking into buying a camera and I wanted to know which camera do you all think captures the best images of a fish tank especially through antic lighting.

i am not a photo guy so i dont have too much info on cams but i think straitjiggy10 is selling a cam with lens for 650 he from the bx too and he take really nice pics so i am sure he can answer some ur questions

take a look at DPreview.com, you can look at several cameras before making a purchase.Have a general idea what the camera will be used for, and if you want a point and shoot or an SLR.

go to jnr and try out the canon g11 or if you can try a g10 these cams rule , thats what i used to take my pics if you wanna check em out, i cant remember who but some morron told me about them and i got one and never regreted it

I forgot to mention the canon G series, great cameras. jeremy here on MR has a G9 and loves it. do a bit of research on them, might be what your looking for in a camera.

what is your budget? if you can spend $450-600 you can grab a Canon and Nokia DSLR with a starter lens. that would be the best investment for any camera.
