great aquarium store on long island.

at first i started off going to aquarium adventure, but instantly felt unwelcome there, so i was off searching not only for an upgrade of a tank but another fish store. I stumbled upon AQUARIUM DESIGN NETWORK, on long island, near walt whitman mall, and was very impressed. There prices were terrific, the owner, and staff are extremely knowledgeable, and there livestock look fat and healthy. I bought my bow front oceanic tank there and got an amazing deal, and he gave me amazing prices, on liverock, and livestock. I give it an A+ all around, you guys should check it out!!

i don't know what you are talking about, i was simply stating my experience with a lfs that has excellent quality, help and livestock. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, because accusations are often wrong,

also the impression i got from that store was that the store was far from going out of business, in fact they were in the process of upgrading all of the lights in the store.

i am not affiliated with the store, and for the last year i am an active member on reef central,r, i stumbled upon this local forum and was excited, being that it was local wanted to post a good experience i had at the store . I see, i got ripped off on a brand new 90 gallon oceanic bow front with matching cherry canopy and base, with a sump and light, lbs of live rock, for under 1100 dollars. I am not saying its the best light best sump but that is a good damn deal.

I am not biased, and have visited a lot of stores, and think these prices are fairly reasonable., and btw that was another incorrect accusation that i don't know deals, a lot of your comments have no basis.

lol so glad I could entertain..just stating the facts man and trying to educate people. They had a nasty 120 for sale w/ wood stand for like 1200 or something also lmao I love when people try and sell used bad shape stuff for new prices or more. I saw another guy trying to sell a 20 gallon and a 29 gallon w/ some filters and crap for 800 bucks too. I swear people must do serious drugs then go on CL thinking they are going to strike it rich or something. I thought crack slowed down in the 90's..apparently not.
