Can you get a flat head screwdriver on one of the flat surfaces of the bulk head's nut?

If so give it a few light taps with a hammer tightens slightly every tap. It might not be what you are looking for, but in tight situations it does work...

If it leaking you most likely put the rubber seal in wrong you should only hand tighten only. Check the rubber gasket there's a flat side and a grove side the flat side facing the glass

I believe he was making adjustments after the tank was full.

I had this happen on a friends tank, we emptied the overflow box cleaned it out, dried the gasket and overflow box and just redid the bulkhead. problem solved, with piece of mind restored.

leak

this is what im dealing with.im going to have to drain out the fuge cut the pipe out remove the bulkhead and try to redo it.the reason why i have to redo it is my water level in my tank is to high and i have to cut the durso pipe 1/2 in.i forgot to add a union to the pipe so i will do that as well.you can see how tight it is in there.

as motortrends and ming suggested a basin wrench should fit in there and they do come in different sizes, they also have angular heads with telescoping handles....HD only carries the small ones for kitchen/bath faucets...try plumbing supply like Blackman or Liberty....

just going to ask that but im worried that since there is water leaking it wont adhere.its dripping like 1 drip per minute maybe more.i did load some silicone on it.i figured if it stops leaking great i wont have to redo the pipe.if it continues i was planiing on fixing it tomorrow anyhow

nah do it right the first time.dont put a bandaid on a broken arm.im a perfectionsist with the plumbing.if the tanks running for years you dont want to wonder when that bandaid will break
