My pride red table collapse, rock stracture couldnt handle the weight. of cause i couldnt even eat my diiner and start thinking what i should do.... here is my temp fix , but i would like to hear from you guys what else i can do? colonie is really big : 25-30" wide and about 20" deep. Should i redo the whole island or leave this rods and let it growth more....dilema

Stunning tank Mike, though your tanks always have been!

Quite a dilemma you have there...while I'm sure those rods will cover with coralline quickly, their straight profile would detract from your beautiful tank.

Another consideration might be -Is the table shading other corals that you might like to see grow more?

My vote would be to get some sort of rock structure under there so it can continue to grow where it is clearly already very happy. It is a hell of a centerpiece. Can you do that without having to redo the entire island?

Add me to the list of branch suggesters. While a custom-made piece of rock sounds interesting, I just can't see one being as sturdy or looking quite the same. From the size of that beauty, it would seem like some major pruning would be in order though. Even on the reef they often succumb to their own weight.

And certainly add me to the list of "Gorgeous Tank Observations". We all wish for such problems.
