Where to direct reactors

Where do most of you direct your output from your reactors? Is it wise to direct it into the sump or back into the display tank?

My phos reactor is in my sump. It pulls water from the chamber that takes in the DT water and empties near my skimmer pump( in the middle of my sump) HTH

I read some place that its best to heve it return to your skimmer section
