i'm moving so... what should i do with the tank?

Hi, I'll be moving soon so I need advice on what I should do with the inhabitants of my 14 gallon biocube tank? I CAN NO LONGER BRING THE TANK to my new place and will have to move them to a smaller size tank. I currently have 2 damsels, 2 anemones, 1 kenya tree coral, and 1 flowerpot coral. I also have about 10 pounds of live rock and 5 pounds of live sand in it.
Any suggestions on the smallest size tank I should purchase including the make and model? Or is placing them in a smaller size tank not a good idea? Thanks in advance for all the suggestions!!:bagfish:

First I don't know how you made that work in a 14g lol......
And I don't think two damsels in a 10g would be bad....BUT AND I MEAN BUT those anemone are going to need more space. I don't think two anemone will do good in a smaller tank.

I think its too early to say the anemones need more space. He didn't even mention what type of anemones. i.e. a maxi-mini doesn't grow large, a mushroom is a type of anemone, so is an aiptasia. Anemones just need the proper water chemistry and proper lighting. Feeding IMO is beneficial, but optional, but will not be the determining factor if the anemone lives or dies.

Although, I wouldn't recommend 2 large anemones, or downgrade to a 5 gallon either. How much smaller are you thinking, because a 14 isn't too large to begin with.

But without going into detail, I would say if you're going to downgrade and move at the same time, its definitely easier to have it setup in the new place before breaking down your existing tank.

14 isnt big at all, and u should be able to move it, unless its the combined weight ur worried about

combined weight of a 14g still can't compare to a 300g tank. It wouldn't be breaking anything unless his new place was made out of toothpicks, newspaper and straw.

I mean, how much smaller is the foot print of a 5-10gallon tank going to be over a 14g?

You might save 3-5 inches or so? Are you moving into a closet?

14G Biocubes are small already... You could get an 8gal JBJ or their 3gal picotope, but as mentioned above the footprint for a 14g biocube is small...
