Aiptasia removal

Who knows how to take an aiptasia anem off the glass in your tank with out spewing its nectar into your tank?

dude i have 1 huge 1 left on my glass and my fish wont eat it. its to big he is afraid of it. I would NOT touch an aiptasia anem with that wand if you saw the size of these aiptasia they are bigger than some majano's that i have seen the wand would just piss them off.

The kind that swim. nah jk kiddin I have a matted leatherjacket filefish (Acreichthys tomentosus) aka bristletail file fish. why do you ask?

If it's not too low on your glass why don't you just take a heat gun or soldering iron to it at your next water change? My chihuahua would probably eat it too

I have tried this with only some sucsess, but I also dont remember where and how many I did it to at one time...LOL But you can try and I still do this when I could get to them other wise that is why I got the same file fish a few days age... Fill a syring up with you ALK dosing fluid get your water change tub all set up stab the aptasia in the neck (not the head or mouth) put a 1/2 cc or more ( I always like more :Up_to_som) in to it as it starts to melt start sucking the crap up with your wc tub....

No! a Filefish I let nature take its course im not putting an overglorified cattle prod into my tank. is that thing UL listed? and as it Arcs does it emit any strange gases into the tank?
