I just ordered 75 lbs of dry rock from them yesterday. And today I just used the tracking number on ups website and they weighed it in at 55.3lbs. I'm Gona wait till I have it in my possession and weight it myself before I call the company to say something. Anyone have this issue before?

hi,newbie here,---not to sidetrack, but i assume that you are going to start your new build with a combo of dry rock and live rock?

will you try to cure the dry rock prior to putting in tank or just drop both kinds in the tank right at the get-go?

i'm planning a new tank and i just came across some dry rock websites, like brs and marco's. nice way to save some cash, especially for a large build!

They are great with customer service. Give them a call/email. I emailed them about an addon RO canister that was leaking on me and they sent over a new O ring to fix it that same day.

I don't think anyone can find anything wrong with them actually. A+ for BRS.

Are you sure they didn't send you 2 tracking #'s?
I ordered 100# before, and they shipped 2 boxes. They actually gave me ~120# because I asked for large rocks, and I guess that last piece was like 30# and they wanted to error on my benefit

i'd call them while the rock is in transit once your sure of the weight that way there wont be too long a wait for the rest of rocks and whatever you can squeeze out them for the mistake they made to arrive..........

They are great! If there is only 55 lbs in there, I am sure they will only charge you for the 55. Maybe they ran out of stock after that. I ordered once and it came in two boxes. Or it might be a typo error on UPS's part also. Wait and see when it comes.

Ive been through this before. I forget if its UPS or Fedex but there are 2 boxes and they only scan one. So your only seeing the weight of one of them.

I love BRS. I get rox, gfo, kalk, reactor, rodi from them plus i get my pukani rock from them.

BE WARNED..... those rocks come loaded with dead animals. I hade 25lbs in a tuff rubbermaid with skimmer heater and maxi jet and that thing stunk for about 2 months. And thats after 2 weeks of vinegar and scrubbing.

Its awesome rock though. Just dont put them in with any live stock!
