ok,donated tank in school.now will start the build/setting up. i have a lead on a filter from 45acp.hopefully that will pan out. Also for the record i've invested money for several items, which i won't list.That said i'm off to a great start! i don't have any lighting,but i figure i'll figure that out as i go. i'm trying to take pictures as i go but my carea is not like the guys on here.will post anyway. i appreciate everyone who stepped up,even if just as offers.
almost forgot,for everyone who has donated you will be sent info for everything you give to be a tax write off.the least i can give back.

I'd go with an south American planted tank with Angels and such. Africans are too aggressive.

bizarro i've been back and forth with it. the young ones want africans. my personal tank is SA/NA. we'll see. but that's is the only other way i'd prob go,so great idea.

You can put any cichlids together..why choose? I always had south americans and africans together. It's all the same really. I also have some canister filters so if you still need let me know.
