After almost 6 months the day has come.

The VDub acted up on Friday costing me almost $400 or this would have been done sooner. I am putting togather a complete build thread that will be up in a few days. Just so excited had to post something. Even with a portable heater blowing on the reverse osmosis unit and 50 psi it's still painfully slow. I am glad I took extra time to rinse the sand out as the tank is really pretty clear.

Bobbyyyyyy, congrats man. 'bout time.

FYI, 50 psi on your RO/DI pressure is going to cost you time and water quality. Optimum psi for your RO/DI is 80 psi.

Fill a 5g bucket with hot water, put a heater in it and crank it up, put 40'-50' of RO tubing coiled in the bucket to heat the water being fed to your RO/DI filter and your permeate (good water) production will increase.

Well I am kinda lonely :)

Yeah it's so awesome. I'm sitting here watching the water rise like something is going to happen...

IT'S RUNNING! No leaks, a little loud but it's smooth. No gushing and the ball valve to throttle back the fuge section is working perfectly. Nice gentle flow. The NAC is making a little foam but's probably just from the dust in the water. I honestly couldn't have done it with you guys! Especially Jeremy, Ryan, Jeff (Chickenking) and Russ. I'm shot though. Think I'm gonna go sit in front of my tank ;)

Here is a shot of the sump. I was going to go acrylic but the VDub struck again. This is the 40 breeder I put together back in January.

I have a T off the return for draining water changes. (2) 1/2" reactor feeds andthe split drain for the refugium.

really cant wait to see how it goes man. glad you finally got it going. butttt...seeing it took you forever to figure out what equiptment to use, and 3 years to figure out what light fixture to use, then another year to deside you dont want to go with the fixture you chosed and want another one, GOD i could only imagine how long its going to take you to choose which fish and corals you want! haha good luck though, happy its filled! step 1...complete

From Tolstoy

?The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.?

And Ben Franklin

?He that can have Patience, can have what he will?

Yeah yeah so I'm worse than some women you know Lol.

Ryan I already have a list of the fish I am doing albiet a very small one and a rather larger list of corals. I made lots of metal notes when I stopped by Jeremy house ;)

As far as aging in light years I need to find a way to go faster than the speed of light. Would LOVE to be mid 20's again Lol.
