It's official. I have ordered a six bulb, dimmable Sunpower.:sgrin:

I'm actually pretty excited about the new light. Now I have to figure out how to hang it :banghead:

You will not be disappointed, did you order bulbs with it? dont use the dimming feature for about 50 hours on the bulbs....they need to "burn in" first.

I'm going to run a few Blue+, a Purple+, a coral plus, and probably an actinic or two (I have three but I won't run that many).

Thanks for the reminder on the burn-in time as well.

And, after aprx 8 weeks, my tank has fish :D ...I was able to bring my yellow watchman goby up from QT and put him in my tank.

My clown fish pair is currently in the QT. Ill get them used to the tank and eating regularly, and then I will try a round of Prazi-Pro.

Even though there isnt much to show, I'm going to try and take some pictures tomorrow.

On an un-related note, I'm adding the first dose of Special Blend tonight. I've had some cyano and tried the lights out for three days already, but it didn't make a dent.

:lol2: that AC unit doesn't work actually. Hasn't for years.

Are the pictures upside-down for anyone else? They were fine on my computer but on my iPad they're upside-down.

Looking good E.

What are u planning to keep?

Thank you. Those pics are from a few months back actually.

I'm planning on keeping a few LPS (I have an orange hammer and a small frogspawn, a bright green plate, and some NPS - dendros...for now), along with acans and zoos on the bottom part of the tank. The top half will be dominated by SPS corals. Millis, birdsnest, and other related SPS.

I'm going for a minimalist, open, branching look. A lot like a tree.

As for fish... I have a yellow watchman goby now, and there are two clowns in my QT system. After that, I might add some anthias or cardinals for a shoaling effect, but I'm not sure.
