+1. Unless you do the proper research to learn the subtle differences to properly ID your purchase yourself, you kinda gotta take their word for for it. At the moment of purchase you obviously had a doubt, then you had a decision to make...to buy or not to buy.
If it were me, would wait to see how it turns out. More dramatic changes may occur with age. You may find out you were right, or maybe you were wrong.
I for one, am against publicly ousting someone regardless. I would do the research to make a positive ID on my own, then approach the vendor in private, with facts. Most vendors here seem very willing to correct mistakes. If they dont make right (if that's the case) then i would ask for public opinion. Not to base your entire judgment on it. Just my .02

Smart way of thinking ..... And that's what exactly what I did I talk too the the guy from clown Aquatics he gave be both bags and he notice that they were the same and then he call his boss and he told me that this is what happens when u but fish unseen ... But I again told him that they were the same fish just that one pair was a Juvenile and the other one adult.... Then he didn't know what to tell me so u told him i wasn't goings to sit there and argue about the fish so I paid for them and left .... I got home and under my lights at home I really got to see them and I was right they were all the same ... So I contact him again and this is what they had to say

Those are not vivid fancy. Those are Fancy White. If you go back to our thread you will see that they are prived separately.

The title of the video itself says both fish.

What do you want them to do? It appears that you got the fish you ordered, but aren't happy that you ordered them and did so without researching your purchase? I don't see how that is the vendors fault.

Try selling em for what you Paid in the forum. They are nice looking fish regardless. Im not a clownfish guy personally, but they look healthy so you could probably turn em over or trade with someone here.
In terms of the purchase: if it was not what you wanted should have not taken them, I don't think the boss at CA would care they have been doing good business lately for a reason: good healthy fish at good prices.

I have been considering a pair of black clowns, already have a mated pair similiar to these.

So price difference is like $3 and change and by nature are very similar to standard clowns?

Just my opinion but I would not think a vendor would consider ruining their rep over something like this.

I can see a vendor exploiting the australian coral price gap versus corals from indonesia, just mho

They are probably the what CA says. Haven't dealt with them but they seem to be the experts on clowns. Maybe it's just that they aren't the high grade of their type. Like there's grade A B etc

There is no photos of the vivid fancy, they probably copied that exactly off SA's list. It does show what a Fancy White is though and based on your posts it seems like that is what you wanted, you wanted a Fancy White or were expecting something to look like a Wyoming White. If you did RESEARCH and google what it looks like beforehand then you would have known prior to purchasing that it wasn't anything like a wyoming white...

I don't think a vendor should be held accountable for that especially since your whole point is trying to say it will be like a wyoming white mixed with an ocellaris, but if you googled it beforehand well it is clearly evident that isn't the case.

If you go to google images all of the ones popping up look just like yours. Click the link and you'll see they are look like yours.
