My original pair I had for a few years. The male stay a male. Than I lost them to a storm power outage. I got another pair and male went to female. So decided to go with the blue line. The best fish I ever have. I want to try Mask again. Maybe a Trio. Only thing about them the male always chase the female in a semi aggressive. Very likely he will turn back into a male again. Male are so much pretty.

Thanks Pat....both Masked Angels are doing well and get along, but the larger reversed back to female...

Did either of you have another Male Genicanthus angel in the tank, or a large female that was changing ?

Just male Mask Swallow tail that was larger and stood as a male. I had another pair and male was switching to female. The bigger female is the one that will change if you have a pair. I was reading the larger female will or can change back to male.
