Koralia Broken

Anyone know how long the warranty is on Koralia's? My Koralia 4 broke and I don't know what to do with it now. It's on my parent's FOWLR tank so i'm not too stressed out about the flow issue. Have another K4, plus the return pump for flow.
Cleaned out the broken K4 and it still doesn't turn on when plugged in.

So anyone know if i can get it fixed or anything? or does it go into the garbage and wait until i put up some money for a mp40?

I think I have one with a broken impeller (the plastic part), but the pump still operates.
You can have it if I do.

I had a koralia bust and leak voltage into my tank. I emailed them, they had me ship it, and they sent me a new one back. They did not ask me when I purchased it but it was less than a year that I owned it. I will see if I still have the address in my email.

the shaft broke on my Koralia 4, I emailed them to find out where i can buy a new one, but all they asked was for my address and they sent me a replacement no questions asked.

I had one break ( a piece of plastic in the housing snapped off when I tried to close it ). I emailed them and they replaced it without asking for proof of purchase or anything. They also send me some flow modulators ( two came without them ) and o-rings ( i dropped one down the faucet ) at no charge.

have you tried turning it on without the front grill? leave the impeller exposed without the cover and see if it spins. thats what i did with mine. the aligment hole might be dirty preventing it from spinning.

Just a heads up for anyone following this thread..

Since we have an excellent relationship with Hydor I was sent a supply of Flow Directors for most of the Koralias and a supply of extra shafts to hand out to MR members who needed them.
I will bring them with me to the next Swap in April in the event that anyone needs one. Please don't ask for an extra shaft unless yours in broken

My Koralias stop every couple of months. I have to put my hands in there and give it a push. I very rarely put my hands in the tank otherwise.

They have great customer service. Same problem w/mine less than 1 year old. Sent my K-4 to Koralia for about $5 mailing & they sent me a brand new one N/C. I don't think the product is as dependable as I first thought though. Many peeps I know have probs w/them after about 8-12 months, me included.
