I lost one of my snails....corals ok so far.....I'll be keeping a close eye on them for the next few days....had most in my cooler bag all day 10am to 7:30 or so.....sry to hear about ur losses....contact the vendors and see what they can do....previous posts make sense...stresses to inverts due to removal, travel...and changing water conditions over two or more days may have put them over the edge....

Well, I'm happy to say that I had extremely good luck at this swap. I got my stuff from everyone and was extremely happy with the pieces they brought for me. I was there until 745. I didnt get home till 9 and didnt get done placing my last piece until 11! All 7 pieces I picked up made it thank goodness. Sorry to hear you lost pieces DRE. Thanks to Tina from Wet Thumb for the heat pack late in the day! I believe it definately helped them survive for all that time.

dre,

Sorry to hear this. What I got from you, did great. Interestingly, I use to take temperatures of what I would keep in my cooler bag. Seems like during the winter, It would only go down several degrees for a multi hour day. Did you use a cooler, etc.

Either way, sorry to hear about it. I think it also depends on how the seller took care of what was given. For me, I had my frags in display tank and only bagged it at the last minute, etc.

One thing that does get me mad, is when I receive a coral in a regular baggy with maybe 1/2 inch of water. I know corals may not need a lot of water, but I think that is way to little. What I try to do, is when available I use those tall skinny frag bags and then, I can keep coral frags better ( at least it looks that way).
