Dr. Macs group buy

I am thinking of buying some frags form Dr. macs he's got some awesome stuff in stock right now at really good prices.
$225 or more we get free shipping

I wanted to get the superman monti frag and another frag so that would put the total for me alone at about $84 so we don't need much more to ge tthe free shipping anyone interested in doing this with.

I would like to purchase it by monday the latest since these frags usually go pretty quick.

post here if you are in. Payment in advance please. I've been burned too many times. I would have them shipped to me they can then be picked up here, or we can arrange a meeting somewhere in manhattan or queens during work hours.

I would not order anything from them because a personal bad experience with them. They sent me the wrong rock, admitted their mistake but refused to take them back due to the shipping cost. Luckily I saved all the emails and Amex charged back the purchase.

Dr. MAC is horrible. I also know someone else bought stuff from his store in person and the corals die within the day and he didn't do anything for him.

I'd avoid, his frags are weak and his colonies are over priced and pedestrian...I can buy an A.Humilis just about anywhere...

His price are usally on the high side but the coral looks better than the pictures as in most of the pictures the corals aren't fully open. There isn't any adjustment to his pictures.

I went down there back in July. His corals are lit with 400w 20k XMs. I wasn't impressed with his frag selections but his wild colonies were nice. Actually, his LPS were very impressive as well.
But then again, I had an A. humilis that cost me $169 RTN on me in a day or two.

i bought some DE MH from them cause they had a sale about three weeks ago, and this morning i open the box and notice that the bulbs look used. I'm fu@#$%%ing PISSED. I tried calling this morning but there not opened yet. I'm no expert in bulbs but they look like they have some burning on the bulb. the inside is powdery and the brass on the end of bulbs look alittle dark on the ends from possible heat. can you guys give me some feed back. OH buy the way sorry to hijack your thread Glipper69 i'm justed very PISSED
