I need an Id on this.

It is about 2 inches long and hides in plain sight on the live rock. I think it is some kind of Nudi. It is in the center of the picture and has the three large circles on its end. It stretches from the upper left in the picture behind the rock and extends down the center ending in the 3 circles. Anyone Know??

Perhaps a Chiton? (though it does look somewhat like a Nudi too, tough to tell in the pic) They can look a bit different when they are stretched out as opposed to the oval shape they appear on the link.

I dont think its a Chiton. Have seen those before. It moves very slow like a Nudi and is only on the rock. I have never seen it leave the rock. It is almost impossible to see. It is exactly the same color as the rock.

Doesn't look like a chiton to me; I don't see a segmented body. IMO, it's some kind of flatworm or nudibranch. Sorry, I can't be more specific.

ive seen one of them before and couldnt get quite as good as a pic that you got. lmk if u find out what it is cuz im still curious as to what it is. its not a chiton and possibly some kind of nudi but ive already checked databases of different kinds of nudis and it doesnt look like any of the ones that ive seen in them

Some of the replies in the thread seemed to think it was a type of chiton. It had a hard shel but would curl up in a ball if bothered. Chiton sounds good, considering there is a shell.

there is no shell. It has a fuzzy skin and what appear to be scales down the center of its back. Only down the center. They may be for self defense since they are raised on one end. Looks like they may be some type of armor when it rolls up.
