What Is This....

I saw this for the first time about a month ago it was about 1/4 inch i a month it is over 1 inch it has what looks like a irdesent green shell like thing and looks fuzzie it only comes out at night
does any konw what it is and if it is good or bad?

Looks like a baby Abalone. Awesome grazers. I always have 1 in every tank. They are armored like a cowrie. They are nocturnal and great to have.
