Any idea what type of coral this is.it has polyps .i believe its some type of sps.i got it as a freebie.its green in the middle and purple around the edges.thouht it miht be a monti

Thinking monti could be a chalice but looks more liek a monti from what I can see.

It does ... have a look at the link, if for example it is a montipora aequituberculata ... and it looks to be one

ok so its not a monti.my guess is a green slimer .thin is growing fast,this pic was from 2 weeks ago and its branch doubled in size already
