Hi,

I'm sure this has been identified before, but I couldn't find it in the search.
Is it some sort of hydroid or aiptasia? Is it dangerous? I've got 'em all over my glass.

I got the pic off of wetwebmedia, but Bob Fenner doesn't really say much about them. I'm wondering if these things are going to be a problem in the future.

Thanks.

Here is a pic of mine, they're harmless I forget what they are called but they will be gone soon. Mine showed up when the tank was new on my 29 and my 55 then after a week they were all gone.

Thanks for the reply. Should I be worried that I've had these guys for over 2 weeks now? I used to wipe 'em away with the magfloat, but they keep coming back.

Just keep hitting them with a mag float I get them in my new tank alot more frequently then I did in my old 29. From what I remember they are completely harmless.

I sweep em off of the glass with a mag float and my clowns and my angel looked to eat them but not too sure cause they're so small.
