Hi all,
In my 72gallon tank, I noticed some orangish/ reddish pods/bugs on my live rock. There are no acropora attached to that live rock, but there are a bunch of asterisa stars feasting on the coraline algae live rock. (Turned it almost all grey from a nice purple.)The nearest acro is about 10 inches away.

Are the bugs/pods the infamous red bug? All the acro has good polyp extension. The under side of a red planet frag is white, but once again there are good polyp extension. The bugs/pods seems to be just crawling around the live rock. They are tiny and are about the size of a fine ball point dot.

I got a specimen out of the tank. From what I can tell it is solid in color. Sorry I don't have any quality camera that can focus on that tiny unidentify hitchhiker.

Here is a video of it moving around. I m not sure why the vid got stretched after it was uploaded:

Should I worry?
Thanks

Kathy - I thought red bugs have a yellow dot in their abdomen? I m pretty sure the bugs in my tank are solid color.

Cowfish - I did not add any tigger pods to my tank, but it may have came as hitch hitchhiker on the LR or other frags.

I was hoping it was not red bugs. Maybe I am just in denial.
