Hi so i found a crab on my coral recently and was wondering if it was harmful. The pics are hard to see but it is brownish and seems hairy/furry and looks like it may have black tips on its claws. It is a maricultured colony. I searched it and it had mixed ideas so i figured i would ask on here. Thanks

if its hairy, remove it.

an emerald crab is hairy... would you remove that also?

before you go tearing things apart its always besy to id things properly. this means do google searches on your own on critters that can hitch hike on the corals you purchase.
99% of the time if its on an sps its because its beneficial to the coral... and then you have people that don't know what you are looking at based on poor images you upload are making assumptions.

but hey.... its your tank... do as you see fit.
