ID Please

Hello MR,
I just discovered these critters in my overflow. Can someone please help to ID.

I have an assortment of snails in my tank for a few months now. Got them as a package from Reefs2Go. I also had 2 healthy cleaner shrimps for about 4 months and then they suddenly died about a month ago. I had also gotten 2000 Amphipods/Copoeds with the snail order, but haven't seen any in a few months.

Are these critters related to any inverts from the CUP or something different?

And are they Good or bad?

pineapple sponges there good for your tank. There filter feeders. if the spread to fast just go in with a credit card scrape them off into a ziplock bag and give them away.

Thanks for the ID. I just Googled the name and these look to be the correct critters. They are only in my overflow chamber, none are in the tank, and none in the sump. But I did replace my sump last week.
Since they are in the overflow chamber its kinda hard to get my hand in there to scrape them.
Do you know if the fishes will eat them? I can try to scrape with an algae scrapper and release into DT?

Leave them alone. They are good for the tank

dont release them into the DT but you can put some in your sump or they will make there way down there. They will decrease in numbers over time if your nutrients levels are not good. There pretty cool looking close up at them.

Got it. I will leave them alone; except to spy on them with a magnifying glass. I have a socks in the sump and run a strong skimmer. I'm planning to start my fuge in a couple of weeks, so if they do make it down there and get into the fuge area that would be nice.

I have the same thing in both of my tanks. They spread real fast. None of my fish eat them.

I've also noticed that they don't seem to like light most are in shady areas.
