Scary Looking Unknown Creature

Did a little of landscaping and saw this for the first time. Looks like a worm, it definitely is alive and moving. Its in my Reef. Havent seen it do any harm but it looks nasty.

Any idea what it is? Should I take it out and feed it to my FOWLR?

It's my coworker!!! He went on a break but haven't seen him for a while....

It's a tunicate or sea squirt. It's like a little filter feeder. They are reef safe
