No idea what this thing is!

So this stringy white noodely thing has formed a pretty symmetrical oval like base on one of my live rocks. Has anyone seem this before? If so what is it. Appears to be a base of growth of some sort. All I.D. help appreciated.

Thanks debbythefowler for the I.D. I like Dan P googled snail eggs and came up with a few variations of those, and some dead on pics.
